Buda is two towns in one. The old downtown along Main Street holds early 1900s houses and mid-century cottages on pier-and-beam, and around it sit the 2000s and 2010s master-planned communities, Garlic Creek, Sunfield, Whispering Hollow and the rest, all slab-on-grade production builds.
