Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling in Tarrytown, Austin TX

Tarrytown's charm is its 1930s and 40s cottages, and its challenge is the same thing. Pier-and-beam foundations that have moved for eighty years, galvanized plumbing at the end of its life, and kitchens sized for an icebox. We remodel these houses with respect for the street: original proportions kept, original details matched, everything behind the walls brought up to today's code.

Kitchens in Tarrytown almost always want more room than the original plan allows, so our work here often pairs a kitchen remodel with a modest rear addition or a wall removal backed by proper engineering. Bathrooms get gutted to the studs, waterproofed correctly for the first time in their lives, and tiled in a way the house deserves.

It is careful, old-house work, and it is some of our favorite work to do.
